Condition: Cough •  Wind-Cold
Treatment: Disperse Wind-Cold, circulate Lung Qi and stop cough.
Description: Cough, itching of the throat, than and white sputum, aversion to cold, fever, headache, nasal obstruction and discharge, thin, white tongue coating and superficial pulse, floating.
Comment: Additional points GV20 for headache and ST40 for phlegm

Point Selection:
BL12 • Feng Men • On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the second thoracic vertebra (T2).
Wind Gate. Meeting Point on the Bladder Channel with the Governing Vessel.
Explanation: Wind Gate

BL13 • Fei Shu • On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra (T3).
Lung Shu. Back Shu of the Lung that connects with Front Mu LU1.
Explanation: Regulates Lung Qi and stops the cough

GV16 • Feng Fu • On the posterior head, 0.5 cun directly below the external occipital protuberance.
Wind Mansion. Meeting Point on the Governing Vessel with the Yang Linking Vessel. Sea of Marrow Point.
Explanation: Wind Palace

LI4 • He Gu • On the dorsum of the hand, approximately at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone, in the belly of the first interosseus dorsalis muscle.
Contraindication: Do Not Needle If Pregnancy is known or suspected
Union Valley. Yuan Source Point on the Large Intestine Channel. Command Point of the Face and Mouth.
Explanation: Disperse, clear Wind-Cold

LU7 • Lie Que • On the radial side of the forearm, 1.5 cun superior to the tip of the radial styloid process.
Broken Sequence. Luo Connecting Point on the Lung Channel to LI4.
Explanation: Regulates Lung Qi and stops the cough
